Verizon, Apple Stores will open at 7AM on February 10 for iPhone 4

Summary: As almost everyone surely knows by now, the Verizon iPhone 4 will be available for pre-sale tomorrow and in stores next week. Here are some more launch details.

As almost everyone surely knows by now, the Verizon iPhone 4 will be available for pre-sale tomorrow and in stores next week. Here are some more launch details.

The pre-sale will commence at 3AM EST on February 3rd on both Verizon's and Apple's online stores. Note that this is for existing Verizon customers only.

All other interested buyers will be able to reserve an iPhone 4 with a Verizon contract online for delivery or in-store pick-up on Wednesday, February 9.

Then, on the big day (February 10), doors will open at 7AM local time at Verizon and Apple Stores nationwide. I can't imagine there being a shortage of a device that has been available (even if with a different carrier) since last summer. But anything is possible.

    V-Day, February 10, 2011? Verizon customers no longer have to settle for being second class citizens. And Verizon no longer has to give away malware infested Roids for free? It?s a win/win for everyone!!!

        Whats going on, no interest for the iPhone 4 on Verizon?<br><br>iPhone 4 is old news, even if its with Verizon<br><br>Keep on stating, timing is everything, Verizon is three years late to the iPhone party and has jumped to the wrong bandwagon leaving Android. In time they will regret such poor judgment. At the expense of lost market share.<br><br>The Atrix will have lines waiting for it, the hype is behind that device.

        When the G1 came out, I stated that Android would lead within two years. This came out to be true.

        So lets wait an watch how many iPhone 4 sales happen at Verizon and how many Atrix sales at ATT.

        Either way, iPhone 4 single core is OLD compared to dual cores available for Android NOW (Optimus 2x already available for sale 3099 kr)

        @Uralbas So the iPhone 4 is old news and there is no interest in it coming to Verizon? Is that why they sold out of their initial order on the first day of current customer only preorders? Is that why they sold more on the preorder day in first two hours (middle of the night by the way) than they have ever sold of any phone on launch day? Sure sounds like old news nobody is interested in.

      @i8thecat <br>Verizon customer *are* second class citizens...<br><br>- as their crappy CDMA phone is pretty much useless abroad<br>- drops and data feeds, when a call comes in, until the call is over<br>- Is about 8 months behind other networks who launched it (Might have been restricted to AT&T in the USA, but most other developed countries have been multi-CellCo for years. All networks (Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, O2, hell Even Tesco a supermarket sell it on pay-as-you go!!) in the UK sold the iPhone 4 from day 1. Yours USA 'free market' appears to suck here).

    Who really cares? But I'm going to enjoy people continue to complain about dropped calls and bad reception because they refuse to believe it's the iPhone 4 that's the problem.<br><br>Can anyone say, "Consumer Reports?"

      But let's say that you and the other Apple haters are right - I guess you missed where the antenna (which is what most of you anti Apple trolls like to talk about) was redesigned.

        @athynz While I believe the antenna issue was extremely overblown it is a fail if Apple didn't do anything to correct the issue before releasing on Verizon. Saw a news scroll this morning stating antenna issues on the Verizon iPhone, no details beyond that. My experience with the iPhone 4 is the reception is far superior to my previous iPhones and though I have tried I have not been able to duplicate the signal drop.

    I'm responding to your sentence: "I can?t imagine there being a shortage of a device that has been available (even if with a different carrier) since last summer."

    There may well be sell-outs, because the CDMA iPhone is definitely a different product, available on the 10th for the first time.

    Not that I necessarily think it will sell-out for sure, but it is possible because it is not the same thing as the AT&T model.
