Mobile World Congress is barely getting started in Barcelona today, but ViewSonic is already unveiling its new V350 smartphone and a ViewPad 10 Pro tablet.
Let's start with the V350, which is truly a business traveler's device thanks to the dual SIM feature, allowing users to input both business and personal SIM cards or perhaps multiple cards for different countries. Here's a look at the other specs:
- Android 2.2
- 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touch screen
- Bluetooth 2.1
- 5-megapixel autofocus camera
- microSD card slot
Continuing on to the latest tablet entry of the week, the ViewPad 10 Pro is also geared towards a more professional set of consumers as well with dual-boot functionality between Android 2.2 and Windows 7 Professional. ViewSonic also likes to boast that this is one of the first tablets to run on an Intel Oak Trail processor. Other notable features include:
- 10-inch LED-backlit, capacitive multi-touch screen (1,024 x 600 resolution)
- Battery life: Approximately six hours
Both will be on display for the first time during MWC on February 14. However, neither pricing nor launch plans have been mentioned for either of these devices just yet.
