Vogel’s introduced a new accessory for the iPad at IFA 2010. This one is a “Mount & Cover” set-up that allows the iPad to be secured anywhere, including cars.

There are actually four parts that make up the Mount & Cover system for the iPad. First up is the base cover, which protects the back of the iPad with a tactile coating or the front screen, depending where it is placed.

Next, there’s the wall mount that snaps onto the base cover and allows the iPad to be swiveled up to 360 degrees. Then you have a basic table stand that does the obvious: props up the iPad in either portrait or landscape mode on tables, shelves, etc. Finally, there’s the intriguing car mount that attaches to the headrest so that backseat passengers can leave the driver alone.

The Mount & Cover system will roll out first in Europe next month, while it won’t be available in the United States until early 2010. Pricing starts at €29.99 for the wall mount and €59.99 for the base cover. You could also opt for the “starter kit” which packages both together for €79.99. Pricing for the car mount and table stand will be revealed in October.
