Many of you have been waiting for this day since October, and here it is: the official Windows Phone 7 Connector app for Mac computers is ready.

There is probably a larger population of Mac computer users with Windows phones than one might expect. This replaces the clunky beta version and the need to use Boot Camp to transfer data between a WP7 smartphone and a Mac. Such possible syncing include music and movies from iTunes, images from iPhoto and system updates for the WP7 device.

Obviously compatible with any WP7 handheld (and also the Zune HD), Mac users will need to have at least Mac OS 10.6.6 installed on their computers for this deal to work. The WP7 Connector app is free and available to download from the Mac App Store now.

@Rick your just jealous because microsoft built and designed a better user interface than your buggy, glitched junk iphone. Dont be mad you have to look at your ugly icons on your iphone. Also for your info apple troll windows phone 7 sold over 2 million since it first came out and also windows 7 sold over 300 million license software. Maybe you should think what has your Mac OS x Snow Leppard sold. Let me help you on that NADA!!!! LOL... Windows wins again.

@siobhanellis@... There is no officially word how oh many they have sold ... but if you use common knowledge you would conclude that since they are shipping more then that must be they are selling them :) I don't think there going to be wasting money and just stock-piling them on store shelves
