Gamification godfather plans day-long mini-summits across the US

If you’re interested in the whole gamification concept, but are not sure really what it can do for you -- outside of slapping a few badges on your website and hoping for the best -- you might want to check out one of Gabe Zichermann’s (pictured right) new hands-on workshops.

Zichermann, who I’ve dubbed the godfather of modern day gamification, will preside over a series of day-long sessions will give you the basic guidelines for creating a gamification plan for your business and then you’ll get together with a team and brainstorm the a strategy based on your needs.

“You will leave the workshop ready to gamify your business with an action plan, solutions to key problems, and reference materials such as books, whitepapers, and course, documents,” says the workshop’s website.

Each workshop costs roughly $1K each and group discounts are available for groups of three or more. Right now there are workshops set up for Palo Alto, LA, DC, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto,  Boston and more will be announced soon.

The workshops kick off next month, so there hasn't been any feedback on them just yet -- so stay tuned. For more details, point your browser to http://w.gsummit.com/.
