Time Shifted Frankston

Walking from my hotel to the ETech conference yesterday morning, I noticed Bob Frankston enjoying an attractive pile of eggs at an outdoor cafe. Bob is well-known to many of us as the co-inventor with Dan Bricklin of the spreadsheet, and as the frequent attendee of virtually every conference in the tech universe.

Walking from my hotel to the ETech conference yesterday morning, I noticed Bob Frankston enjoying an attractive pile of eggs at an outdoor cafe. Bob is well-known to many of us as the co-inventor with Dan Bricklin of the spreadsheet, and as the frequent attendee of virtually every conference in the tech universe. Like another friend of mine, Professor Irwin Corey, he is the World's Foremost Authority on, well, whatever he's interested in. Regrettably, his mouth tries somewhat unsuccessfully to keep up with the speed of his brain, resulting in a stream of consciousness which inevitably makes sense if only you could keep up with it (which I can't.) Thus, a common phrase I use with Bob is: "What does that mean?" or its variant: "Say that again." Thankfully, Bob is always willing to rewind slightly and continue.
After our conversation, Bob told me that he tweaked the data rate to suit the audience. Now he tells me....
