Today Google's and Apple's CEOs were spotted having coffee together. The two were seen relaxing outside a Starbucks -- a nice neutral spot that can't be considered the turf of either company.

Photos taken captured some interesting body language. Steve Jobs is certainly on the offensive, while Schmidt seems to be listening intently. I wonder what is being said?

One overheard phrase which has the internet thinking came out of Steve Jobs' mouth: "They're going to see it all eventually, so who cares how they get it?" I can't imagine what he may be talking about, but it might be fun to guess.

Let's hear what you think Steve means in the Talk Back!

• What a shame that....

American companies are not on the same side. Imagine Google, Apple, Microsoft, and ....etc.
What the world would be with all of them as a united front?

• Well, what you are talking about is strictly illegal by both US law and

international law. Competition is VERY
important. Without it we could not have the
innovations that we have from Apple and Google.

Cross legs, offensive??
deep@...
• Come on, exactly how you sit to be comfortable has nothing to do with this.

NT.

• Maybe...

Jobs had to go to the bathroom real bad. ;-)

BTW, he looks rather thin. I am not a fan (although I certainly respect what he has done for Apple), but I still hope he is healthy.

Is that what you want in the World?
American companies dominating?
I fear that would be a disaster mainly for... the USA!

• Yes, exactly, if we tried to restrict competition, we would kill our own

innovation.
DonnieBoy
• Maybe..

Schmidt was just suggesting to Jobs that Apple has bitten off a bit more than it can chew with its HTC suit?

I cannot imagine Google sitting idly by watching Apple intimidating all the Android phone manufacturers. The mobile space is FAR too important to Google to not make a major counter offensive.

We'll see what happens.

• It is GREAT to see credible competition in smart phones. Google will

keep Apple innovating at the highest levels.

• Staged...

Sitting out in front of a cafe on the street is not
discreet. And does Steve Jobs always where that outfit
everywhere?

• What's Steve saying? My guess:

"Four bucks for a grande latte?!?!?"
Userama
• He also might be mentioning to Eric Scmidt

how much he admires Starbuck's ability to sell that latte at a 200% markup.

:)

• Or maybe.....

"Could you pick up the tab, Eric? They only pay me a buck a
year."
Userama
• World Leaders

Jobs Said: What happened man, I gave you China!

Schmidt said: China is to hard a nut to crack! They kicked
me out.

Jobs Said: Take over Australia and South America, but I'm
keeping the US and Canada.

Schmidt said: OK Steve, but I get to keep Europe!

See you next year, Steve and Good luck with Canada.

Hands outstretched, legs crossed....he sort of looks like he's
begging or pleading.

• i know what he might be referencing

the famous Apple "Shroud of Secrecy."
bruc3
• Maybe Schmidt is saying...

"Can I come back Steve, no-one at Google talks to me".

or,

"Have we done enough to get the FCC off our backs?"

Stage 2

"World dominion"

• I know what's being said...

Jobs: "I'm telling you, hers were this big. Absolutely enormous!!!

Schmidt: "Sweet!"
Hallowed are the Ori
• LMAO

Now that was truly funny. I can also see:

Steve "Eric you should have been here five minutes ago her ?guns" were
not only this big, but they bounce like real ones?"

Eric ?Darn it I knew I should have come sooner! Why am I always just a
few minutes late? Are you sure they were not silicone?"

Steve "Yes I am sure, they had that look. I have seen enough real ones to
know. I swear she was one of the women, from the juggies app."
