canada_day06.gifTo all my Canadian readers, happy Canada Day.  To celebrate the anniversary for the creation of the "Dominion of Canada" on July 1, 1867,  Google has created a new logo being displayed on the google.ca website.

Only three days away is the American Independence Day, a celebration of the declaration of independence for the thirteen United States of America.  I am almost certain there will be a logo on google.com for that holiday as well.

If the same address pattern is used for the Independence Day logo, it would be found here [ update: if it follows the same pattern as last year, it will be here ].  Even if this is the correct address though, it probably won't be available until closer to July 4th.

Just to note, Canada became a dominion in 1867, not 1876 :)
