From News.com:

In court documents submitted Thursday to U.S. District Judge James Ware in San Jose, Calif., federal prosecutors said they need a prompt response because of the compressed schedule of the case. They're asking Ware to set a 21-day deadline that would begin as soon as he makes a decision.

"Delay in this court's resolution of the motion to compel would be unwarranted," the three-page brief says.

The judge in Google v Gonzales has set a hearing for tomorrow, March 14. The judge in the underlying case about the Child Online Protection Act wants expert testimony submitted by May 3, hence the government's haste in getting the Google matter resolved.

  • Resistance is Futile

Maybe just maybe people are starting to wake up to the fact the government servers the needs of only the elite and not the rest of the people.

Americans are allowing their freedom to wilt away. All people must stand up to this dictatorship. Google will appear to stop the government to give a sense to people there is some form of resistance to the dictatorship but the truth is Google will comply. And why not the largest shareholders were paid off billions to do just that.
