Summary: Nature Conservancy has an online climate change mapping tool.

Nature Conservancy now provides an online "climatewizard." The mapping tool will give you projected temp and precip changes for a geographical area.

You can seek out maps for any nation, as well as any of the United States. You can look at the historic record, the situation as projected for 2050 or for 2080.

  • I am sure they are

I am sure they are using the same bs models that were leaked to be rigged to always so it was happening. Even though record cold temps have been recorded all over the world this year and Huston TX got the first snow in living memory there...

Seems to be getting colder not hotter.
  • Rubbish in =

    Quotes from the infamous email
From Phil Jones (modification of data to hide unwanted results):

"I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline. "
From Kevin Trenberth (failure of computer models):

"The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t. The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming: but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate. "

  • RE: Online climate tracker

Wow -- could we please have less gibberish in the talkbacks? whew.
The fascinating thing -- to me, anyway -- is that there is enough interest in climate change (NOT warming) to justify the presentation of this tool on the Internet. Good reporting, Fuller.
  • Nonsense.

    And no news.
