I don't need a "Smart Meter" to spy or babysit for me. I'm a good citizen that follows the rules. We all need to be, otherwise you WILL get a spy meter in your basement with big brother watching you.
And you thought smart meters were only for electricity. Anyone who lives in New Jersey (aka the Garden State) can relate to this post, because you are probably on mandatory rationing, as you watch your yard turn into a California summer landscape.
Our need to turn the tap on water usage is growing more critical by the moment, so it’s not surprising that a new report from Pike Research suggest that smart meter deployments will surge to 31 million worldwide by 2016. What’s more, more than half of all U.S. states will be dealing with shortages in less than three years.
That’ll probably get me thinking twice about sneak-watering in the middle of the night.
