All Verizon handsets a penny at Amazon

Summary: Why stand in line for an iPhone 4S when you can pick up a handset for a penny?

I don’t usually push deals your way, but this one’s pretty darn good.

If you’re in the market for a new phone (not an iPhone, sorry) and you’re willing to switch to Verizon then Amazon has a cracking deal for you.

All Verizon phones sold with a new line of service are on sale for a penny. This includes Amazon’s standard FREE Two-Day shipping.

There are some good handsets available, including the Motorola Droid Bionic 4G, the HTC Droid Incredible 2 and even an HTC Trophy Windows Phone handset.

So, why stand in line for an iPhone 4S when you can pick up a handset for a penny?

Adrian has authored/co-authored technical books on a variety of topics, ranging from programming to building and maintaining PCs. His most recent books include "Build the Ultimate Custom PC", "Beginning Programming" and "The PC Doctor's Fix It Yourself Guide". He has also written training manuals that have been used by a number of Fortune 500 companies.

Adrian also runs a popular blog under the name The PC Doctor, where he covers a range of computer-related topics -- from security to repairing and upgrading.

This is how Android phones sell ..... because they don't sell on their own merit.

@wackoae I had high hopes for Android, but now its just an annoying mess that gets in the way of what I am trying to do.

I only stayed with them because I wanted a 4G phone...but thats all thats holding me to this platform.
