@eye4bear - No, you don't have an iPhone, that's why you had a problem. It worked fine for everyone else don't forget.

But if you can yawn at Apple I'd love to know what company you do invest in. happy

Actually I do.

@Ken_z: That doesn't make this event any less of a yawner though. Sorry but the past few events have been yawners. Every tech publication (and a few non-tech one's too) covered those events. Live blogging, real time updates, etc. And in the end? Announcements not worthy of the hype (or even an event).

That was my thoughts too. No one is really talking about this event. There is no excitement in it.

@Loverock Davidson Yeah, like any event Microsoft has...how's the social coming with your Zune? How's that Kin coming? Windows mobile?

Man, just can't seem to win can you?

As always you can't post your qualifications, but you don't have any so that makes sense.

@Loverock Davidson - Actually, it was one of the best computing events in the last year. You didn't watch it, so don't understand what just happened. If you have a modern computer & browser, go to this link, you'll be amazed!

You should get a job as an analyst

you show just about the same amount of understanding of the market apple serves as they do. And you can get paid for being all smug, superior, and consistently wrong.

Yawn.

@frgough: Your responses are just as predictable, and boring, as Apple's recent events. Just like this one.

@jacjar1 - No... everything was new today. New shuffle, new nano, new iPod touch, and what stole the show was the new AppleTV. It was "wow" all around, one of the best events of the year for people who are into computing. You can learn what happened here:

The social network for ITunes....considering there's over 100 million users, it's sure to be better than Microsoft's lame "Social"...

This is an utterly useless, pointless blog post. Based on the headline, I thought you were going to tell me what Apple announced. WRONG! Instead, it is useless speculation about what you think Apple will announce later today. Who cares? I'll wait to see what Apple announces. I guess the philosophy behind this blog post is, Do anything to churn more words into the blogsphere.

Back from the past, slapped a live sticker on this thing called Boxee. Got rid of Linux and plan on going head to head with Google. It's new, and they will love it. Or call cable.

RE: Apple's
Pederson 1st Sep 2010
@prof.ebral - No... Boxee is a separate program, you can run it on your AppleTV, but Boxee is nothing on the level of what Apple gives you. Apple has never used Linux, so not sure of your comment on that. The new AppleTV runs iOS which is based on BSD UNIX.
