Check your Android handset for Carrier IQ rootkit

An app has appeared in the Android Market that allows you to check your handset for the Carrier IQ rootkit.

Voodoo Carrier IQ detector is a free tool that will check your handset for the presence of Carrier IQ. The tool won't remove Carrier IQ (you'll need to root the handset to do that) and it can throw up false positives (it's currently a work in progress ... updates are in the pipeline), but it should give you an insight into what's going on inside your Android handset.
