• I have 3b2, but have 2 issues.

First, on this site only I have consistent problems with slow downs and freezes. It is worse in IE7, but I still see it even with FF. From what I understand, it is Flash related, but still very frustrating. ZDNet, are you listening?

Second, like previous versions, the fonts are terrible. I like FF3, but IE7 is far more readable. I have opened pages in both and toggled back and forth between them, and the difference is very noticeable.
• Install NoScript and AdBlock Plus plugins

It's mostly the Dice flash

• Thanks

I added AdBlock Plus and NoScript. I hope that helps.
• re:add-ons

Where can I find Adblock Plus and NoScript?
thanks in advance!
• Gina, just click on

and type in AdBlock Plus and Noscript, respectively. Both are compatible with the FF 3 betas....

• thanks Henri

so you can't use them yet? I mean if you don't have Firefox 3 yet? You know what I'm not even sure what version I have. LOL
• Also Firefox 2 compatible

They're not just for Firefox 3.

Also, there's a new feature to make getting add-ons easier: go to Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons. Some recommended add-ons will be diplayed and can be installed from there, you can also search add-ons or click "Browse All Add-ons" to go to the add-ons site.
• Just installed it...

I like the new default theme, much slicker look. Will comment more when I've used it more.
• RE: Firefox 3.0 beta 3 is out

as soon as Foxmarks releases a compatible version I will be switching over. I like Firefox 3 a lot.
• Speed?

I'd like to see some speed comparisons. Beta 2 showed some improvements over FF2, but Beta 3 is even faster than Opera on my system, which is really almost scary considering how long Opera has held the title of fastest browser.
• What the h***?

What the h***?
You are using IE to download FF? What a disgrace!
• boo, boo

I agree, heathen :)
• RE: Firefox 3.0 beta 3 is out

Only thing I care about in beta 3: Does it crash every time I right click? I guess I'll find out when I get home. Beta 2 crashed on my system every time I went to right click on anything. Very annoying, but I couldn't be too pissed since it was a beta...
• RE: Firefox 3.0 beta 3 is out

I lost the down arrow on the scrolling bar. Mac OS 10.5.1 and Firefox 3 beta 2. Is this a firefox problem or a Leopard problem? It is there on some linked pages and us missing whether the up arrow is at the bottom or the top.
• RE: Firefox 3 beta 3

Just downloaded it.

Now excuse me while I go out and play!!!!!
• addendum

Just noticed the modified back/forward arrow. Cute!!
• My only complaint . . .

. . .is that most of my add-ons are hooves-up.

My M$ Ergo keyboard's browser-function buttons and slider work just fine.

Hopefully FoxClocks will be updated right away (it was working in 3b2), but I hate having to close FF3 and reopen FF2 to get my RealPlayer record to work again.
• LOVE the new back/forward history feature!

Take a look at it -- you now get one single list, bold highlighted where you are, and showing your forward/backward links above and below.
• RE: Firefox 3.0 beta 3 is out

Please check whether it works well with foreign characters (a problem in previous versions). Thanks.
