Friday Unrant - Twas the Friday before Christmas

Since it's the Friday before Christmas I thought that my gift to you, Constant Reader, would be for me not to subject you to my rant for this week. 

Since it is the Friday before Christmas, this is the point where I wind down for a few days and spend time with friends and family rather than you fine folks here.  Well, you know how it is ... :-)  But I'll still be online and blogging, albeit lighter than usual, so if you're online, feel free to drop by.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for coming here, reading the blog and participating in the debate.  While we might not always see eye-to-eye and agree on everything, I know that the debate that we've had on here at times has made me think and get a better appreciation of the other side of the argument.  While we've debated quite fiercely at times, I've found the process to be quite a lot of fun - and I hope you have too.

I'd also like to thank those of you who've taken the time to contact me.  If you came to me with a problem or issue, I hope that I managed to help you, even if that was only in a small way.  If you dropped me a comment, know that I read it even if I didn't get around to replying (sorry about that ... if I had the time I'd respond to you all).
