Be VERY careful about installing this
NonZealot 16th Jun 2010
I went to update iTunes and only update iTunes and the Apple updater installed Safari. Slimy, slimy move Apple. Had this been any other company, they would have been slaughtered in the blogosphere but watch, Apple will get a pass for this.

@NonZealot I know you hate Apple with a passion but I didn't realize that you could not read. Seriously why didn't you bother to look at the installer dialog box and simply uncheck the option to install Safari? While I don't like the idea of them making the install of it the default option it's not like they are the only company to do this - The java install preselects adding open office and the flash install preselects adding the Google search bar. But they get a free pass from you for doing so because they are not Apple. Cue the Double Standards!

Who says they get a free pass?

The java install preselects adding open office and the flash install preselects adding the Google search bar.

That is just as evil as Apple doing this although I have to ask, does it install new software when you update Java or Flash? I don't think so. If not, then Apple is more evil.

I'm sorry I missed where it said it was going to install Safari but in my defense, I was doing an update to iTunes, not an install. Why would Apple try to sneak an install of a completely unrelated product during the update of media player software? Oh, I know why, because they are evil and because they know you'll apologize for their behavior.

@NonZealot I'm usually one that critic Apple alot on their religious like behaviour however, you are wrong here.

I just updated iTunes to 9.02, not only Safari was unselected, it did not did a stealth install of it...

iOS 4 works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. Not all features are compatible with all devices. For example, multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. At last, don't worry about iFunia products for iPhone, iFunia have intensely followed Apple's iOS 4, and most of our product tiles like iFunia DVD to iPhone Converter for Mac, iFunia iPhone Video Converter for Mac will support Apple's new iOS 4 as well as iTunes 9.2 for apple customers.
