Forget about the 'I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC' ads, it's now Samsung's turn to be on a roll when it comes to poking fun ... at Apple users.

Here's a new set of ads that build on that earlier Apple-basher ad from Samsung:

Clever set of ads. Even as an iPhone user, I giggled.

• Ads are really funny

That's how you hit back, not those lame Laptop Hunters ads.

Ads are cute.
The only problem for Samsung is that they will soon have to compete with the next latest and greatest Android device that will be out in a month or so.
But the ads are cute.

Simply Google Samsung Galaxy Nexus

And while you are at it, also Google:
Samsung Galaxy Skin
Samsung Galaxy Note

And see what the real state-of-the-art technology in progress looks like! No FUD. No BS.

Alas, nothing's in Apple's product pipeline.

Oh, and Samsung also does Windows phones, amongst others (Hint: Nokia).

Come on, all this outstanding hardware must be put to good use!

Please open your eyes to reality, Samsung is the #1 technological leader on the planet in terms of consumer electronics. That encompasses hardware / firmware / software...

Humor yourself and also Google Samsung 38.3 just for fun? (And that's just in 2011.)

There's a solid reason Samsung is #1. True sciences and R&D.

• Apple should sue Samsung

These are a slavish copy of the I'm a Mac ads. After all, there are actors and the commercial is on TV, just like the I'm a Mac ads. Hey, that's no more ridiculous than suing over a rectangular tablet.

These ads are shot in a widescreen format. Apple ads are shot in a widescreen format. I am shocked that Apple has yet to send its lawyers over to get these ads halted. They could be filming these ads with a fish lens and then they won't have any look or feel like an Apple TV ad whatsoever.

LMAO!

Apple can't even get a 4G phone out! Wait till they encounter Samsung's patents on 4G... Not to mention FRAND or not, Apple still needs to license those Samsung 3G patents, before thinking about 4G?

And like in the Motorola case, it may not be at FRAND rates.

Sit back, relax, and watch the fireworks...

• Cute but I see a few problems comparing them to the switcher ads

The music one is flat out wrong in suggesting an iPhone user can't get their music from the cloud or get streaming media from different places...you can.

Let's face it the ads are quite subjective, for instance many folks don't want a big honking phone and so on.

The ads seem more geared to keeping existing Samsung users rather than switching iPhone users.

• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

@CowLauncher Umm, I don't think that was the point... They said they wanted to keep their music and their movies... This is mostly likely a shot at Apple DRM seeing that most didn't want to pay again to remove the DRM from their old songs and the Movies only play on Apple Software or Devices.

• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

The question is really is this likely to sell more phones? I'm not sure suggesting potential customers are a "bit thick" is the best way to do this.

When your product is a pretty slavish copy and you do it... Well, need I say more?

• The Reality Is...

@jeremychappell
apple users (fanboys) will not change their allegiance, but intelligent people can recognize when people are slaves to lies. apple is so innovative, yet everything they release is an old idea, if not already released by the competition, long, long ago.
The Samsung, and other Android, phones, have features that apple didn't provide, until the 4S, and even the 4S, apples new holy grail, doesn't have ESSENTIAL things (like 4G), that Samsung and the other 'Droid phones have had FOR EVER.
Samsung's ad isn't aiming their product at the morons standing in line, they are just showing the potential customers that those FanBoys are morons. If the potential customers want innovation and freedom, they shouldn't stand in the apple obfuscation line...
Steve@...
• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

@Steve@... So if I get an Android device, do I get to call people who own Apple and Microsoft stuff morons?

• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

@Steve@... So 4G? Lousy battery life be damned.

No don't tell me, you can switch it off to conserve the battery. So something else to ditz with? Quit apps to conserve memory. AntiVirus to keep updated.

I can see that's a far better choice. I must be stupid.

Does it make a difference there is no 4G here?

• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

@themarty sure you can! And, we can laugh when they turn around and clock you! =D

• RE: Samsung ads hit out at Apple fanboys

@jeremychappell you were in the line during these commercials weren't you? 4G was killing battery when it hunted for a 4G signal... If you're in an area where they have 4G coverage everywhere the battery life was no worse than other 3G phones in a 3G area. Of course you would know this if your preferred phone manufacturer made their damn phone with 4G!

@jeremychappell Hmm, 4.3" Super Amoled HD Screen, Curved Screen, Gorilla Glass, Ultra-Thin, 4G, Plastic Back and Replaceable Battery... Yep, you're 100% correct, that is slavishly copying the iPhone!
