Companies used to spend all their energy trying to prevent their Black Friday ads from leaking. Now they're getting creative in dropping last-minute saving surprises on us. Target is the latest, adding several "surprise doorbusters" to its Black Friday specials, including another round of HDTV deals.

The sales include pair of 40-inch LED-backlit LCDs: the Westinghouse LD-4055 for $399 and the Samsung UN40D500 for $499 (thought that price is about $1 more than at Dell). There's also a Vizio 32-inch LED set for $449.99 that's an in-store-only deal for select locations, though the specific model number is not disclosed. You can buy a 43-inch Samsung 720p plasma for just $399 (again, no model number specified), though again that special is only available in select stores.

If you want a larger set, you can grab a Philips 46-inch LCD (but not LED-backlit) for $499, or the 55-inch Element ELGFT554 for $699. Unlike the Philips, the Element has 120Hz refresh rates and is a great price for a 55-inch set if it's available at your nearby location.

With two days left before Black Friday, there are sure to be more surprise deals to come. Check back to see what's next from retailers.
