Just ran into Jeff Pulver at the Von show here in San Jose.

He called me aside to tell me what he is going to talk about during his presentation Tuesday morning.

Jeff tells me he will:

Call for the "IP" to be dropped from the term VoIP. He views the IP as being taken for granted, and thus, superfluous at this point.

Jeff told me he will also call for the overturning of the patents Verizon is using as ammunition for their suit against Vonage.

Other juicy tidbits:

Jeff will announce the creation of the Video on the Net Alliance- Internet video content providers, third-party services, carriers and pipelines.

He's also planning to file a petition with the FCC related to video on the Internet technology. More about this tomorrow.

Oh, one more thing: a $40,000 contest for user-generated Internet video content.

Get ready for some more news tomorrow.
