23% of North American companies to cut IT spending in Q2 2008

23% of respondents to a ChangeWave Research study said their companies will reduce or halt IT spending in Q2 2008. 15% of respondents said spending would increase in Q2 2008. 10% reported that Q1 2008 spending has been greater than planned. 27% of respondents said their companies have spent less than planned during Q1 2008.
