Microsoft, Best Buy launch more Windows 7 'dad and grad' deals

By | May 19, 2010, 11:40am PDT

Microsoft is rolling out Phase 2 of its early back-to-school (plus father’s day) deals for Windows 7 laptops. (Phase 1 of the new Windows 7 offers kicked off a week ago.)

This week, the promotions include:

  • $200 off the purchase of a Toshiba Satellite E205-Xbox 360 arcade combo. The Satellite is available with Windows 7 Home Premium. The Xbox 360 Arcade enables the connection of PCs to TVs for sharing video, photo, music and other shared content. Available exclusively through Best Buy
  • $200 off Dell Studio S15Z Blue Label PC-Xbox 360 Arcade combo. The Blue Label laptops also are running Windos 7 Home Premium and are available exclusively through Best Buy
  • Dell Studio XPS 16″ running Windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student (and free upgrade to Office 2010 Home and Student) for $1,049. Available through the online Microsoft Store. Available through June 25, or while supplies last.

Sounds like still more Windows 7 offers are continuing throughout the summer and will be touted on www.windows.com.
