Documents To Go for Palm supports Office 2007 file formats

Back in December I posted the news that Office 2007 native file formats were incompatible with all mobile device operating systems. You could always have people save the documents in Office 2003 and earlier format and then email the document to you, but that isn't an efficient way to work. DataViz is the first mobile software developer to release an updated product that supports these new Office 2007 native file formats. Documents To Go 10 Premium Edition for Palm OS is now available for those of you with Treo 700p, Treo 680, Tungsten X, and other Palm devices.

There is no word yet on an updated to Documents To Go for Windows Mobile Smartphones, but I am sure they are working a fix for that software application as well. I haven't heard of any other fixes coming until this summer for other mobile operating systems so your safest bet is to still have people save documents in pre-Office 2007 formats.
