Facebook's IPO would be 6X bigger than Google's!

The $10 billion IPO equals a $100 billion valuation. This puts it bigger than Disney, currently at $61 billion, and Amazon, currently holding at $88.3 billion.

Why is this mobile news? The main reason is that recent figures have stated that Facebook has 300 million app users. I thought this number was particularly worthy of mention since Facebook originally just had one guy, Joe Hewitt, building the iPhone app, and yet it started a frenzy of mobile usage. The other interesting stat is that Facebook has more than 350 million users accessing the site from a mobile device each month.

It’s amazing to see how mobile-friendly the world has become since the launch of the iPhone.
