Motorola Q is coming to Sprint soon

Summary: Sprint just issued a press release announcing that the Motorola Q is coming by mid-February as part of their Power Vision offerings. The Sprint Motorola Q is much more attractive than the Verizon offering since you can get unlimited data for as low as US$15 with Sprint while unlimited data from Verizon runs something like US$80 per month. My only hesitation with the Q though is that the next version of Windows Mobile, code-named Crossbow, is scheduled for a 2007 release and this Sprint offering may be coming a bit too late.

Sprint Motorola QI have been checking out the new Sprint EV-DO Rev. A service with a Novatel USB device for a couple weeks and have been thinking about adding Sprint to my mobile arsenal for their high speed data at a reasonable rate. I am trying to decide between a mobile phone that could be tethered or something like the USB wireless device. There was no pricing information in the press release, but the Q should run around US$200 with a new contract if they want to compete with the Verizon pricing scheme.
