While retailers with inventory of the HP TouchPad tablet are selling out at fire sale prices, early adopters are trying to determine if they can get a refund for the full price they paid a few days ago. Retailer Best Buy has extended its return period to 60 days to allow all purchasers of the TouchPad to bring them back for a full refund, or to let them talk you into another tablet model according to the web site. Note that Best Buy’s price match does not apply to the TouchPad, you must return it to get the refund.

Just In
So hopefully in a couple days I can get my money back from Best Buy and Amazon and still have a couple decent new photo frames to hang on the wall and show pictures.
Would Best Buy honor this. That means I would get $150 from them back if I keep the pad instead of returning it. Not a bad one. I bought mine for $250 from Best Buy on new mobile store deal, broadband signup deal (which I cancelled immediately in a week) and HP $100 cut at that time. I am planning to return mine before the windows closes. Today morning I went to Best Buy and they said they don't have any Touchpads because they have sent back all the inventory to HP and they are not doing any price matching but extended that return time to 60 days instead of 14 days. If they honor this, that would be great, and I will keep the touchpad
.
You won't regret it and you'll never look back (except to laugh at the stumbling, struggling 'droidheads and their crappy, almost-works-like-an-iPad tablets).
