HTC unveiled its latest 4.3-inch Android phone today, the HTC Sensation, which has a multimedia bent. The Sensation is an attractive, somewhat large smartphone that has a high-resolution display. The new phone will ship with the Gingerbread version of Android and the next generation of the HTC Sense interface, version 3.0. This new version of Sense is full of 3D effects and a set of lockscreens that display animated information instead of static images.
The hardware on the HTC Sensation is the latest generation, with HTC including a dual-core Snapdragon processor to speed things along. The camera function has been improved to provide immediate image capture, doing away with the typical lag after pressing the shutter button. The 4.3-inch display operates at the high resolution of 960x540 (qHD) to take advantage of the new HTC Watch video service that features TV and movies rental/purchase for watching on up to 5 devices.
The HTC Sensation will be available soon on the T-Mobile network in the U.S. Check out this promotional video to see the Sensation strut its stuff.
