OnLive Desktop hits the Android tablet
Summary: Remote access to Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer is now available on Android tablets through OnLive Desktop.
The OnLive Desktop app and service is now available for Android tablets. I was duly impressed with the iPad app and the service, and my testing of the Android app show it to be just as good.
OnLive Desktop provides remote access to a Windows 7 system on the company servers, allowing free access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Plus users ($4.99 monthly) get Internet Explorer access thrown in, additional cloud storage for files, and priority access to the servers.
The OnLive Desktop app is free in the Android Market.
