When I see the proprietary software industry pushing lawyers to write stories like thisI do despair a bit.

But at least our side is getting some reinforcements. The Software Freedom Law Center, launched with $4 million from the OSDL, is headed byEben Moglen, a professor of law at Columbia Law. He wants to raise another $5 million to keep two full-time attorneys, a technical officer, and administrative staff running for two years.

Dig deep, because Moglen and company already have two clients, Samba and the Free Software Foundation.

Might I suggest they start with a reply to that first link? But what do you think they should do? We'd love to hear from you in TalkBack.
