There are always hiccups. But the trend remains clear. Technology is growing, and open source is growing even faster.

This is especially true in international markets. Double good news for American vendors, given the weak dollar.

Oracle's attempt to roll-up the database market failed, thanks to open source. Regardless of how Microsoft treats Yahoo, open source will continue moving forward.

Bloggers die. Programmers can kill. Don't let the fall of a tree cause you to miss the forest. (Hey, there's a musical group by that name.)
