John Chambers gave the opening keynote for Interop 2006 and touts the Network as the platform, Cisco's market growth, and the recent ~$7 billion acquisition of IPTV-player Scientific Atlanta.  One of the slides that really stuck out is the one showing Cisco's dominant market share in not only traditional networking markets, but the rapid rise in the emerging Enterprise VoIP market and widening of its lead in the Security space.  I'll be posting some more detailed slides in the next few days.

Where's the tie George? John was the one at the grindstone giving keynotes. He's the one entitled to slacken the tie!
