Stop the Madness! The Pigs are Stealing the Golden Eggs! And New Yorkers are OUTRAGED!

In celebration of Angry Birds Day, a world-wide social media event, the Birdmobile and representatives from Commonwealth Toy converged on New York City's Columbus Circle. I was there with my wife on that chilly Saturday afternoon, where we were among the lucky few to collect a COMPLETE SET of special edition Angry Birds keychains. Be sure to check out the photo gallery of the insanity.

Love this game, great time waster on the iPhone when I'm in line waiting.

  • This is so ridiculous ... it is probably fun ....

Angry Birds is a dumb simple game that can be kind of addictive (similar to the semi-addiction people have to solitare). It is a simple, fun way to kill time.

But I would never imagine anybody coming up with an "Angry Birds Day" celebration.

It'll get on the news in a few places, get more people downloading it, I suppose.

I love angry birds. I am totally addicted to this game on my iphone. It's interesting to see how this franchise has grown with stuffed toys and stuff. I have a ton of them in my bronx self storage unit. It's embarrassing.
