Podcast with sexologist Violet Blue on e-books, explicit content and iPad

In this podcast I discuss with sexologist, author, blogger and podcaster Violet Blue how authors can self-publish e-books on Amazon's Kindle store and talk about Apple's Regional Content Review policies that affect the distribution of content using 3rd-party content providers on the iPad and iPhone.

Violet Blue writes a weekly sex columnfor theSan Francisco Chronicle. Her iTunes podcast is Open Source Sex, in which she reads erotica and talks about sex-related topics, and also has a video blog.

Blue wrote a feature about porn for women which was published in the July 2007 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. Violet Blue is a lecturer at San Francisco Sex Information and is the author of several books on sex and has edited several volumes of erotica anthologies.

Her first book was an erotic anthology she edited titled Sweet Life: Erotic Fantasies for Couples was published in December 2001 by Cleis Press.

Violet Blue will be appearing on the Thursday, March 25th, 2010 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her new book, Just Watch Me: Erotica For Women is due to be released in September of 2010.
