As moderator of this week’s Great Debate on ZDNet, it was interesting to find myself agreeing with a lot of points made by both debaters, Heather Clancy and Chris Dawson.
The topic is Cloud Computing: SMB’s only IT department?
Chris, of course, thinks small and medium businesses can practically — well, totally actually — move all of their IT services to the cloud and leave the rest to cloud providers.
Heather urges caution and advises decision makers to at least have enough qualified expertise in-house to advise on cloud strategy and manage IT vendors.
