  • RealWhat?

    People still use this? Or did 1999 come back and I missed the memo...

  • Only 5 people need to install the updates

    Everyone else remembers how this company secretly tracked its users and tried to push its proprietary format.

    Windows only highly critical flaw. What about Macs with RealPlayer SP?

    • The only thing worse than RealPlayer on Windows

      @BradMacPro
      is RealPlayer on the Mac!
      Serious question - is there a legitimate use for this software on a Mac?

    'Highly critical' flaws hit RealPlayer

    Hmm, did the flaw "hit RealPlayer" or were the flaws always in RealPlayer and just the discovery of them "hit RealPlayer?" I love how these flaws are always reported as if they breakout like a virus. Not there one second then suddenly appearing. Wouldn't a more appropriate headline be "Yet more security vulnerabilities discovered in RealPlayer"

    Again, thank! Keep the security updates coming. There are still some companies that won't tell us about their flaws and try to keep them secret. I'm just glad I never had desire to deal with them. Exposure is good!

  • I'd care...

    ... if I hadn't decided several years ago that I would never use RealPlayer again.

    Never used it unless I really had to. Way too invasive, trying to take over every media file on the PC, not to mention the tracking rumours.
