Psst, psst! A clue to Verizon data breach report challenge

Summary: So, according to a little birdie tweeting in the night, the 2010 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) contains another encryption challenge that leads to actual cash prizes.

So, according to a little birdie tweeting in the night, the 2010 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) contains another encryption challenge that leads to actual cash prizes.

Last year, after I dropped a big clue on Threapost, Grant StavelyChris Eng and others decoded the hidden message on the cover of the report in record time.

This year, the challenge is much harder.  Luckily, I have the first clue:

“Everything you need is right there in print.”

It’s been flipped so, think like an engineer, not a developer ;)
