Psst, psst! A clue to Verizon data breach report challenge

Summary: So, according to a little birdie tweeting in the night, the 2010 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) contains another encryption challenge that leads to actual cash prizes.

So, according to a little birdie tweeting in the night, the 2010 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) contains another encryption challenge that leads to actual cash prizes.

Last year, after I dropped a big clue on Threapost, Grant Stavely, Chris Eng and others decoded the hidden message on the cover of the report in record time.

This year, the challenge is much harder.  Luckily, I have the first clue:

“Everything you need is right there in print.”

It’s been flipped so, think like an engineer, not a developer ;)
