On the Full Disclosure mailing list comes this announcement from a group of anonymous security researchers:
During one week (2007-04-02/08), new undisclosed vulnerabilities / flaws / exploitation techniques discovered in the latest versions of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system and softwares will be publicly disclosed on this page. This project is launched as a challenge by an unofficial team of security experts. Security advisories including advanced technical details will be provided. No more details will be provided before the beginning of TWOVB.

As with the Month of MySpace Bugs announcement, take with a grain of salt.

[UPDATE: April 3, 2007]  That grain of salt would have been very useful. This was, as I suspected, a hoax aimed at the pen-testing the IT media.  From what I've seen, the media came through just fine.

  • I wonder...

How many will they find in a single week? Or is this more of a sensationalist thing
    than an actual thing?

    • Considering Microsoft's attempts at giving Vista "secure" feeling...

...one would assume that there won't be many (if any).

Of course, knowing Microsoft's marketing (read: BS) ability and the big red bullseye on their ass, this may prove not to be the case.

  • Windows Vista Maui Hawaii

You would think that after how long it took vista to come out it would be good to go out of the box. Even with the bugs though I am enjoying the new operating system. To see some Hawaii Web design that I have recently completed on Vista view my Hawaii Website design at http://www.alohatechsupport.net for more details. Over all Windows Vista been working great but I am looking forward to the updating of Dream weaver to CS3.

  • Vista or Win ME

In my fourth week with Vista, I have seen more blue screens of death, that I show four years with my windows XP machine.
This product starts to feel like Win ME. And it took them five years to produce....
