The Calais team over at ThomsonReuters reported the release of Calais version 2.1 earlier today, adding some new entity types, enhanced relevance ranking, integration with Yahoo! Pipes and a revised version of their Gnosis browser plugin that now includes compatibility with Internet Explorer.
