Parallels and GoDaddy just announced a partnership in which GoDaddy would utilize a self-service management tool, Parallels Small Business Panel, to support its customers. This partnership allows GoDaddy to make it easy for Small to Medium size businesses to control their own virtual environments. It also gives them access to a large number of applications that are supported in this environment.

There are several ways that allow multiple workloads, multiple tenants to share the same physical system. One approach uses the processing virtualization technology known as virtual machine technology. The other segments the functions of a single operating system allowing multiple workloads to run in isolation. Each has its place. Each approach also requires different management tools.
