Buena Vista scores Soccernet
Summary: Buena Vista Internet Group, the digital arm of the Walt Disney, has agreed to purchase 60 percent of Soccernet from the Daily Mail and General Trust.
Soccernet, which gets an average of 20 million page views per month, will be used to supplement ESPN.com, particularly in its international expansion, the company said.
Financial details of the transaction were not released.
