By the numbers: Telecity's Powergate facility
Summary: The three-year-old facility is expected to triple in size via a staged expansion to provide spillover capacity from the co-location provider's various London datacentres
TelecityGroup's largest London datacentre — Powergate — is one of eight the co-location provider has in the capital.
Powergate provides spillover capacity for the company's five Docklands and two City-based facilities. It is set to triple in size to provide further capacity over the next few years, while also aiming to improve its power efficiency.
