Cisco said Monday that it will acquire SolveDirect, a Vienna-based company that offers cloud integration software. Cisco's plan is to tuck it into its services unit.

In a blog post, Cisco noted that SolveDirect's software allows secure data sharing between various enterprise and cloud systems. These data exchanges often require manual work. SolveDirect automates workflow and data swapping.

Terms of the acquisition weren't disclosed, but should close in Cisco's fiscal fourth quarter.

SolveDirect's flagship product is called ServiceGrid. The company has partnerships with BMC Software and others.
