CloudCentral expands footprint to Equinix

in brief Cloud infrastructure provider CloudCentral is set to expand its footprint to Sydney, announcing plans to host services out of Equinix's SY3 datacentre from the beginning of August.

The new Sydney expansion is set to work in tandem with CloudCentral's existing presence in Canberra. CloudCentral says that the new expansion will bring lower latency services to east coast customers.

"Providing a flexible cloud-computing environment to our customers is an essential part of CloudCentral's cloud infrastructure offering," said Kristoffer Sheather, chief executive of CloudCentral.

"As a pure play IaaS provider, our sole intention is to deliver the best cloud computing services to Australian businesses."
