Here's the guts of a new Commodore 64. You can see the mini-ITX PC mainboard, with SSD drive, Wi-Fi antennae and transciever, DDR3 memory and Blu-Ray optical drive.
Here's a closer zoom of the mainboard. This particular mini-ITX is Intel Atom-based with a D2700 CPU, but it is possible for a customer to order other more powerful PC configurations from Commodore-authorized resellers, and to order the C64 in a barebones casing only.
