Topic: After Hours

About

Rupert started off as a nerdy lad expecting to be an electronics engineer, but having tried it for a while discovered that journalism was more fun. He ended up on PC Magazine in the early '90s, before that evolved into ZDNet UK - and Rupert evolved with them into an online journalist.

About

Charles has been in tech publishing since the late 1980s, starting with Reed's Practical Computing, then moving to Ziff-Davis to help launch the UK version of PC Magazine in 1992. ZDNet came looking for a Reviews Editor in 2000, and he's been here ever since.

  • As sponsered by Coca Cola?

I respect the opinions expressed in Dialogue Box and it's a trusted brand in my book. That trust is put at risk by it apparently being sponsered by a brand I don't trust. What would you suggest I do?

  • Other advertising

If you felt the desire to go drink a cola after watching, then, yes, product placement seems to work on you... If you are part of the other 99%, then have no fear.

That said, I would consider that most viewers are more highly affected by the end segment on most (if not all) of Dialogue Box; yes, the inevitable mention of the pub... I'm off for a pint!

    (Now that's product placement...)

  • Pig in lipstick!

'a pig in lipstick' - hits the nail firmly on the head!

Great episode chaps - I laughed out loud three times, which for a six minute show is pretty bloody good.
