IT services provider Dimension Data and enterprise IT consultancy company Oakton have joined forces to woo enterprise and government customers with a range of joint offerings.
As part of the partnership, the companies will work together to develop a catalogue of offerings that covers infrastructure integration, cloud, and traditional outsourcing coupled with IT consultancy services.
"For Oakton, it expands our value proposition in that we can now provide a more complete solution from strategy through to implementation and ongoing managed services, right across the solution stack," Oakton CEO Neil Wilson said in a statement. "We are already providing these services to a number of existing clients, and the Dimension Data partnership will help to accelerate growth in this area."
By working together, the two companies can marry technology implementation with the business needs of clients, according to Dimension Data.
"Our value proposition and footprint is complementary, and collectively, we can address our clients' requirements and execute on their business drivers completely," Dimension Data CEO Rodd Cunico said in a statement.
The IT service provider has had a good year. In February, Dimension Data won a lucrative contract with Chevron, and was added to the Australian government's cloud suppliers panel, along with business telco AAPT.
