A rare and exciting role has arisen with Vodafone Australia for a talented individual to join its established Public Policy group at a managerial level.
Working within a collaborative team environment you will be responsible for providing economic thought leadership together with leading and advocating Vodafone's economic policies.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of key relationships with government officials, regulators, industry participants and industry groups.

Sounds like a corker of a job for an economics veteran with an eye for telecomms policy. No doubt anyone in this sort of role will be pretty much a public figure.

Vodafone doesn't seem to have been as vocal as rivals like Optus and Telstra in taking their policy message to the public; maybe that will change with this appointment.

Spencer Scott Hilton are the agency taking care of this job if you're interested in applying; the ad was in this morning's Australian Financial Review.
