Facebook has reportedly rented an office in an upscale skyscraper in Beijing’s Central Business District, according to a local newspaper’s report published on Monday.

A inside source from the developer of the property, the Fortune Financial Center (FFC), told the Beijing Youth Daily that Facebook has signed a three-year rental contract. The square footage and exact floor of American social networking company’s first office in China is unknown.

Both the FFC and Facebook refused to comment. The reporter from the newspaper could not find any Facebook logo or construction on the 59th and 61st floors, which were previously rumored to be the location for the company’s new 800 square meters headquarters.

Facebook has been banned in mainland China since 2009. However, Facebook is now providing advertising services to Chinese business owners who want to enter the global market through its Hong Kong office, the report said.

A separate report from November 2013 said that despite being kept outside the Great Firewall of China, the site still has 95 million users in the country.
