Security site hit by hackers... a PR no-no from the top drawer...

The notorious hacker group Fluffi Bunni has placed rogue banner adverts on the Security Focus website. The research group's site was compromised after a server operated by its advertising partner was targeted by Fluffi Bunni. The bogus ads appeared on various pages of the Securityfocus.com website for several hours before the firm managed to replace the offending messages. The banner featured the hacking group's mascot, a pink stuffed toy rabbit, and the words "You think you know? You have no idea, From Security Fluffi". US newswires reported the attackers breached the ad serving system operated by Thruport Technologies late last week. Experts said Fluffi Bunni appeared to have exploited a recently publicised vulnerability in OpenSSH, an authentication technology.
