Google aims to connect Apps customers with Enterprise Partner Search

While the new Nexus lineup might be the more glamorous Google news item of the day, the Internet giant also had a more quietn announcement for its enterprise customers.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based company has just launched Google Enterprise Partner Search, a new system intended to simplify the process for finding partners with a specific area of expertise or in a specific location.

The platform can help businesses find experts that are also Google Apps partners for essentially outsourcing various tasks, such as consulting, technical support, and employee training. The location search can be narrowed down to from the nationwide level down to hyperlocal.

Amit Singh, vice president of enterprise at Google, asserted in a blog post on Monday that using Enterprise Partner Search engine should be as simple as a few clicks.

With over 6,000 Google Apps Resellers around the world, Enterprise Partner Search lets you preview the capabilities of a partner and find one that offers the services you’re looking for – from setup and user training, to email migration, management services, and support.
